Give the gift of wine country! Grapeline now offers customizable gift certificates that can be applied to any Grapeline tour, at any Grapeline location. These certificates never lose their value, never expire and are fully transferable.
You might be spending too much! Here’s your guide to saving in Wine Country with Grapeline.
Flexible schedule? Avoid Saturdays and holiday weekends. Tours are $20-$30 cheaper on low-demand days, and lodging prices drop too. Bonus: you’ll enjoy quieter tasting rooms and better service.
Spending the night? Many hotels offer packages that include a Grapeline wine tour —usually a better deal than booking separately.
Coming in from out of the area? Book a local hotel to snag Grapeline's lower rates for local pickups. It’s a fun, relaxing way to make the most of your trip.
Shopping for wine? Grapeline guests get exclusive discounts at many wineries, so you can save... or just buy more wine.

Grapeline proudly holds a 5-star rating across all major review platforms, thanks to our commitment to providing top-tier service. Our philosophy is simple: Imagine if an old friend just happened to be a wine country insider and invited you on a wine-tasting adventure—what would that experience be like? It would be a fun day of tasting incredible wines, discovering local secrets, and learning insider tips from wine experts. Our goal is to ensure you relax, enjoy great company, and trust that every detail is expertly handled, including safe transportation. Do we occasionally slip up? Sure, it happens (not often, though). But when we do, we take responsibility and go above and beyond to make it right.
Don't take our word for it. Check us out on your favorite user review site, then join us for your own 5-star experience.

PURCHASED CERTIFICATES
Purchased certificates are non-refundable and have no cash value other than to be applied to Grapeline tours. They never expire. And they are completely transferable, so re-gift away!
If a gift pass is for a specific branch, it may be limited to use in that region to receive max value. But, in some cases, we may be able to offer you the "amount paid" toward use in other regions. So, if you want to book in a different region, just call and inquire.
Grapeline offers certificates redeemable for a dollar amount, and also for a specific tour. They act a bit differently:
DOLLAR AMOUNT CERTIFICATES
A certificate for a specific dollar amount will have that exact value until redeemed. Once redeemed, if there is a residual amount, that residual value is still valid. So if you redeem a $200 certificate for a tour valued at $129, the certificate is still worth $71 towards a future booking. Easy.
TOUR CERTIFICATES
A certificate for a specific tour always will be redeemable for that tour even if the price for that tour goes up or down.
When you redeem a tour certificate, it is used in full and has no residual value. Sometimes, guests want to redeem a higher value certificate for a slightly lower value tour (e.g., redeeming certificate for tour in one region for a tour in another that costs 10% to 20% less). We'll always honor that request, but that's when the "no residual value" rule comes into play.
If you want to redeem the certificate for something other than the specific tour it's for, we consider it worth at least the dollar value at which it was purchased.
Any time we're doing something that is an exception to the rule or just a little tricky and unusual, call us directly and speak with a human. Our online system will probably not get it done and it will never be friendly like us.
DONATION CERTIFICATES
Lots and lots of charities ask Grapeline for certificates for gift baskets. We're suckers for a good cause, and they know it. We accept no compensation (other than gratitude) for the gift certificates we donate.
The donated certificates typically have a clearly displayed expiration date. They have no value after expiration. Otherwise, they are pretty much the same as a purchased certificate.
