YOUR WINE TOUR ADVENTURE STARTS HERE
PRESS RELEASE - TEMECULA VALLEY, CA
Grapeline Wine Tours, in partnership with Visit Temecula Valley and Visit Oceanside, has launched a new Thursday transportation and wine tourism experience that brings the Waves-to-Wine connection to life by linking the Oceanside coast with Temecula Valley Wine Country in a seamless day trip.
Visit Oceanside and Visit Temecula Valley debuted the Waves-to-Wine program in March as a curated road trip experience connecting Oceanside’s iconic surf culture with Temecula Valley’s sun-soaked wine country. Featuring thoughtfully curated itinerary suggestions, the program offers visitors an easy and immersive way to explore two of Southern California’s most inspiring — and lesser known — destinations in one seamless getaway.
The new “Waves to Wine” Grapeline tour expands on the program by providing a convenient, guided option for travelers looking to experience both destinations in a single day. Designed to simplify travel between the coast and wine country, the experience allows visitors to enjoy Temecula Valley’s acclaimed wineries while using Oceanside as a coastal home base, further strengthening the connection between the two destinations and showcasing the diversity of Southern California experiences available just a short drive apart.
Guests depart from select Oceanside pickup locations and travel by hosted mini-coach to Temecula Valley, where they participate in Grapeline’s Vineyard Picnic Tour.
The experience includes:
According to the partners, the new offering reflects a broader interest in connecting Southern California destinations and encouraging visitors to extend their exploration beyond a single community or overnight stay.
“A beach day gets even better with a little wine country mixed in — and wine country doesn’t exactly suffer from being paired with the coast,” said John Kelliher, Co-Founder of Grapeline Wine Tours. “Oceanside and Temecula complement each other naturally, and this partnership creates an easy way to enjoy both in a single day.”
The Thursday departures are intended to provide a recurring option for both overnight visitors and local residents seeking a guided wine country experience.
Grapeline Wine Tours operates hosted wine experiences in five California wine regions: Temecula Valley, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara, Sonoma Valley, and Napa Valley.
The Waves to Wine experience is available for $169 per person and is scheduled to operate weekly on Thursdays. Reservations are available in advance.
For additional information and availability, visit the Waves to Wine booking page.
Grapeline Wine Tours operates guided wine tasting experiences across California wine regions including Temecula Valley, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara, Sonoma Valley, and Napa Valley. Offerings range from introductory tasting experiences to more in-depth winery visits and curated day itineraries.
